INNUENDO is European project launched in 2016 in order to develop a standardized cross-sectorial framework for the application of bacterial Whole genome sequencing (WGS) for surveillance of food-borne pathogens. As capacity building activity, the consortium is organize a course called ”Genomics in foodborne pathogen surveillance and outbreak investigation”.
The course will be held at the University of the Basque Country, in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Basque Country, Spain) 12th – 13th July 2017.
The workshop will be divided in two parts. The first part will be one day of Scientific Symposium. The second part will include a practical hands-on course on bioinformatics solutions for public health microbiology. During the hands-on students will learn several bioinformatics tools developed within the project.
